Finished Shooting & Editing Process

After much discussion and planning on how each shot should look and also me creating a detailed completed script. Connor created a shot list that was very detailed and easy to understand, so throughout shooting there wasnt much confusion on how to capture certain shots that seem confusing and difficult when spoken of. However, we was unable to get any grip or steadycam equipment, so we had to create our own way of achieving this technique which involved placing the camera tightly onto my head where Connor made sure it stayed in place and also turned the camera to match my movements.

I made the phonecalls in advance to get the actors and made sure what days they was available to film to luckily for this project there was not much trouble with actors this time round.

To get locations Connor asked Rutland Arms Pub if we could use there bar room for a certain scene which they happily obliged but only if we was there early in the morning when they was not to busy.
For the office scenes we used meetings rooms in the University Library that we booked out in advance and during filming just made sure that you could not get much shots in that looked like it was filmed in a library.

For the room scene I used a strobe light to create the flash effect and create a sense of panic and more confusion.

During the editing process we discovered that the film was to long so therefore unfortunately had to cut out two key scenes which involved hallucinations where the main characters reflection in the mirror was playing tricks on him and tormenting him. Also, we underestimated the time it took to render our editing which on the day of hand in led to major problems with time keeping.

While Connor did the editing for the visuals in the project I created a number of sounds and effects to create a sense of panic and unease to include into the film.
